The blossom size however is smaller. It blooms from a bud to fully open instantly like a lot of other Austin roses. In the spring it is rather healthy, more so then my other roses. What a joy to have and a stronger grower then the other Austins which is often struggling. Prolific and rebloom but the bloom as nice as it is shatters and falls apart too quickly, maybe lasting 3 days once it reaches the fully open stage.

The flowers tend to get smaller when the temps. reach the high 80's and 90's and can sometimes burn on the edges. But the fragrance is strong and sweet, hard to describe the aroma. It produces basal branches readily and growth has been vigorous and very healthy with more buds coming out. A nice border plant or specimen on its own. Could use some shade to protect the porcelain like pink blossoms especially in mid day.
