Don thought that this plant could possibly make a very good weeping standard, so grafted it onto a tall camellia under stock.

Apparently, this Australian introduced camellia is the first prostrate camellia in the world, and cascades down giving a weeping shape.

A sport with white flowers was discovered on a 'Marge Miller' plant and has been named Camellia sasanqua 'Snow'.
