After spending last year's mild winter outside with no protection, it is enjoying this winter in a pop-up greenhouse. It grows in dense shade most of the day, with some afternoon sun in summer. It is watered every week or two in summer. This is a slow-growing plant and ours has grown from two original stems in 2012 to six.
