It is a very large plant and needs tall support, but I cut off the branches that go over my six-foot cage.
Harris Seed now carries "Sweet Treats". Originally I bought it from a California supplier and paid $5.00 for 10 seeds. I said; "You get...Read More what you Pay For." Therefore this little 1" pink cherry tomato must have a lot going for it, and it surely does!!! : )
This is the best tasting tomato I have ever grown.
(30 yrs searching) It is low acid, thick skinned, a flavor that is an equal blend of fruit and good tomato taste. I can not describe the fruit taste (it keeps your taste buds guessing) but the breeders surely did get it right! I canned and froze them as well. The flavor is still good, next time I might mix in another larger tomato for just a little bit more acid bight. I never did have "Tomato Blight," (19 plants) but then I didn't use chlorinated water. They are a late season variety but as we all know, --
"All good things come to those who Wait."
