HOWEVER, Roscoea purpurea 'Cinnamon Stick' has come back three years in a pot. I place it in the greenhouse in winter and place it back outside in spring. It is not prolific, but it does come back.

Also, Roscoea purpurea 'Gigantea' has come back for its second year.

Next phase is to test other varieties of R. purpurea in pots and in the ground.
