But it has a more compact growth habit than Cardinal, which makes it's growth even more remarkable. It has never stopped blooming and didn't miss a beat during our late summer heat wave that fried the blossoms on my roses. FindThatFuchsia describes the blossoms as follows:

Corolla - Dark Maroon
