The plant is so young you can tell it was a cutting for propagation purposes. The majority of the leaves are compact and a nice healthy green. There is a definite central leader that has thickened nicely where the growth is mostly concentrated and shooting above the compact section below. Right now I see one central leaf/leader that extends above the pack with a new leaf growing off to the side every few inches. The plant will definitely be more open when young then filling in as it ages.
