These enclose a zone of fine, irregularly shaped, closely set petals, of deep rich cream, which in turn surround a prominent cone of broad pink petals, splashed and tipped with crimson. Its varied coloring has repeatedly caused it to be singled out for special admiration from a group of the finest varieties. This is a late variety with delicate fragrance. It won the first prize at the National Peony Show held in Cleveland, Ohio, as the best Peony introduced since 1910. $1.50
