I transplanted it twice. It survived, but I don't think it really cared to be moved. I now have it in an area that gets afternoon sun only.... filtered shade during the day. The area is at the top of a bluff next to the stone steps we had installed last year. Since there was a lot of gravel, and very little actual dirt to plant in.... rockfoil was a GREAT choice as the roots do not go very deep. Seems to be doing very well. BEAUTIFUL shades of pink flowers in the spring that rise up about 3 inches from the plant. I collected some seeds last year, and started them under grow lights in January... transplanted that to the garden in the spring and it bloomed right along with the momma plant. Very happy with the rockfoil!!! I plan to start a few more.
