I erected a bean tower of 2 16 foot cattle panels bent into an "n" shape. This was late May. Now, early August, the 5 plants (that never got watered and we had a dry year) have covered both cattle panels - a width of 8 feet, and have grown to the top as well. They are covered in beans! I am getting a pound every 3 days, plus leaving some on for future seeds. They seem untroubled by pests that are decimating the nearby black eyed peas.
