Can anyone help me?

Ordered from Nor'east mini roses, so was kinda dissapointed when I found out they were not mini, and they only bloom once a season. But ...Read Morethey are hardier than I expected, one comming back after rabbits or deer ate it down to the ground this past winter. I had heard the Hulthemia Hybrids bloom on old wood, not new, but I guess I will see next year. They have a sprawling habit and I suspect could be trained to climb, but I have left them as almost a ground cover so far. The blooms are short lived, but have beautiful single petals of creme outlined in a vibrant coral to almost neon pink with the same warm color in a splotch at the base of the petal. The new growth has a pretty red tint along with an arching waterfall-like habit so far. This is the first year of growth as I planted them late in the season last year, so they may yet grow more upright and bushy. I was very worried as they are listed as zone 6, but they survived next to the house without protection through a central illinois winter and out in the country. They are quite thorny. They are not for a formal garden but if you have an itch for something very unique, they are worth it. Have not had any problems with powdery mildew and they have thrived despite my neglect of the yard this season.
Wanted to add the flowers open as a peachy icecream color edged in orange/salmon, but as they age they turn to a buttercreme edged in hot pink. Mine started blooming 2nd week of May and had about 3 weeks to a month of bloom. We will see how much repeat i have in the fall, as I have read they do have scattered rebloom.
