I was told by the expert grower these plants could grow a foot in a week in the summer heat. I am just learning to grow Pitaya and so far I am amazed at the performance of the hylocereus. This plant is a determined survivor that requires little attention if grown correctly. I will keep updating on this experience through Spring, Summer, and Fall.
