So the vines are vigorous and there's plenty of sunlight and blossoms and bees, but no melons have developed. Not even little ones. It's the end of August and I planted them at the end of May.
Maybe the seeded companions didn't germinate: I don't know. All the vines look alike.
Disappointed, but might not be the fault of the plant.
EDITED 10 Sep 2013: The day I wrote that message I shut off the water. Then the fool things started producing. Go figure.
