Science is not backing up this claim and is recommending to grow Lenape just as animal feed. I'm growing it in my garden and plan to keep eating it in small quantities.
I eat all my potatoes with the peels. Potato peels have evolved to be the prime defense for the tuber survival in the soil. That's where the highest levels of TGA are found in Lenape and likely all potato peels. Google Kenosha Potato Project to read more about potato cultivars and recipes.
