P...Read Morelanted in July 2017 and have grown several feet higher, as well as trunks buttressing. They are planted in a rural area West of Fort Worth, more specifically Springtown Texas and have all done very well. I replaced the deer destroyed tree with another Montezuma Cypress tree from the same place of business originally purchased (Permavista Trees of Brenham Texas) and it is doing very well. Permavista Trees was great to deal with and had very good pricing. These trees grow faster than Bald Cypress, however do not grow as upward, they are slightly weeping form. Also they do not form knees as the Bald Cypress does. I think this adds some character of trees from the deep South such as Louisiana.

The inconspicuos blooms are green with a brown center. This tree is beautiful and its foliage has outstanding fall color in areas where it is deciduous.
