Looks like it stays in a fairly neat clump--pretty gray/green foliage strong enough to hold up the flowerheads. Hoping to have the same success with them as GreenLady did. Beautifully ruffled and long lasting, makes a perfect cut flower too! Deadhead after flower is spent to promote new flowers. I divided these from the mother plant last year after they had stopped blooming. Easy to grow here in the dry south!
I'd like to add that these make a great cut flower. They frequently have 2 or 3 flowers on one stem. If you cut a stem with unopened buds on them, they will all open in a vase, making them beautiful for up to 2 weeks.
