Iseli Nursery, who may be the originator of this cultivar, says "This charming dwarf Hinoki combines cheery yellow foliage with a breezy upright stature. Fun, friendly and evergreen, it resembles a sculpture of puffy, sunlit clouds. Plants grow slowly and stay narrow and compact. Yellow tips take on rich bronze color in winter. Prefers moist, well-drained soil with afternoon shade in in the summer.

I will update you on how it adjusts to my garden. I have several other Hinokis that are hanging in there, so I expect it will be okay.
I like Hinokis for the lilt of their branches and foliage. This particular "Golden Nymph" of mine is not golden, but I don't really care about that. Green is fine with me. I'll pinch the brown damage off its branches and I expect it will be fine soon enough.
