It will occasionally sprout little white flowers but will do so more often when climbing up something. It has a moderate growth rate although I wish it would spread a little more quickly. I saw a comment elsewhere calling this plant "invasive" but I would have to disagree. It does what it's supposed to do -- spread over the ground. It requires trimming and edging just a few times a year to keep it looking tidy. I'm thrilled with this plant and can't wait for it to completely "fill in" in my backyard.
