None of the other plants around it, including other rhodi's, needed as much water as this thing. Also, the blooms weren't really that great. They were a really washed out pink color, fading to white as they aged. There are a few other rhodi's of similar color that do way better than this plant.

3/24/11-Update- after this winter, which wasn't particularly harsh, this plant has suffered severe leaf burn (approx. 90% of leaves burned). ...guess I have to temper my enthusiasm for this one!
