Allow your plants to dry out between waterings. The one sure way to kill this almost indestructible plant is to over-water or to allow the pot to sit in a tray of water. Drain the tray under your container at least a few hours after watering, if not sooner.

So,it likes warm and lots of light,a few waterings a year. That's it for my Lillian in a 12" pot.
