Inside moderate red/moderate purplish red (185B/C) on a light to pale orange-yellow (23C/D) ground, narrowly edged darker than deep red (185A), throat moderate red (185A) on a light to pale orange-yellow (23C/D) ground; outside variegated moderate purplish red and moderate red (185C & B), more 185B towards the edge, tinged strong/light yellow-green (144C/D) on midvein; nectaries 185B/C, white hairy; dark red (187A) spots and a few papillae in the throat; stigma light yellow (21D); pollen strong brown (172A) and strong orange (169B). Fls 200mm wide, up-facing; petals 120 x 40-60mm, not ruffled, tips slightly recurved. Lvs alternate, 120 x 30mm, green. Stems 1.25m, green, with darker markings and 3-4 fls. An asiatic/L.longiflorum derivative.
