European Birch, Weeping Birch 'Golden Cloud'

Very nice birch. However, they do not do well if they aren't watered constantly. We are losing one Birch and the other seems to be doing ...Read Morewell (even after 4 years). These trees aren't suitable for the high desert. They are more suitable if you live near a riparian habitat. I believe this tree will do well near Big Rock Creek, areas near Silverwood lake and other areas were there is constant water. If you do decide to plant this tree in the high desert, make sure you irrigate them constantly otherwise they will become stunted and sick which will eventually lead to the death of the tree. If you have strict water restrictions, this tree isn't a good idea.
