"Unique, rare, and sweet. Perfect for Italian dishes and pesto. Rarely flowers (?--this is the part that got me) like other basils. Tall, slender, columnar growth habit. Most erect basil variety. Can take drier conditions than most basils. Loves summers in the south."
Its a good columnar basil which rarely produces seeds--which makes it really nice in the deep south where basils go to seed if yyou just look at them--but its definitely not a sweet basil. Tastes good for a STRONG tasting basil.
