However, kannak creek doesn't seem to want to bloom every year. May need very cold winters to stimulate flowers. Or l will give it a dose of bloom food. It is exceptionally drought hardy, as to be expected. Growth is slow & tidy. Turns purple in winter.

Requires no...Read More supplemental water after establishment in Denver, and very dense growth denies bindweed a chance to come up. Mine are coming into their fourth year and are generous 2 ft wide mounds. Flower stems come up in May, followed by sulphur yellow flowers.
Fall/winter temperatures turn the succulent leaves burgundy.
Can't wait to divide the few I have and replant to fill some other areas.
