Will not tolerate an exposed site! The more sheltered the position, the larger the leave will grow.
Can become a tree in time (MANY years) - ours is 12 feet and is approx 20 years old.
It is hardy in UK zones 3 - We live in Cornwall UK, & it grows quite happily here.
