I have really enjoyed growing this cabbage. We planted it in late January (right before a cold blast of below freezing temps for two week...Read Mores). We covered it with plastic when it got to be very cold. The seeds sprouted quickly and the plants required minimal care. I just applied a liquid fertilizer twice and watered it almost daily to keep it moist.
The seed package said it would be ready to harvest in 40-45 days. We've started harvesting 50+ days from sprouting, but this is probably due to the odd weather. Very delicious and I would recommend it to anyone in this zone.
