The blue is not a vibrant sapphire as many of the pictures online or in catalogs depict, but en masse, it still lends subdued and sophisticated color to the flower bed. One minor disappointment, however, is it's apparent lack of wildlife value (at least in my area); I do not see many bees, butterflies, or hummingbirds coming by to feed or inspect them. Other than that, it seems to be a very unfussy and floriferous plant with a compact and nicely branching habit. As an aside, do be careful when watering them, as the branches seem somewhat brittle and break off easily at the base even when using a gentle shower-head hose nozzle.
