My rose is growing in clay soil mixed with sand and on the east side of my property in the sun on a fence. It suffered from the many freeze thaws and freezing rain of this year, but remains a good rose. It blooms all the summer and fall season. It is an excellent rose as a central point of interest or a background rose. Simply lovely!

The shrub is 5 ft tall, 3ft wide, the blossoms are 6" across and it's covered with them almost every day all summer--AND I LIVE IN zone5b where it's not supposed to be tough enough to survive! I wish all roses were like CC.
