It took root and grew fairly well for two years. I planted it against a fence and it did well for a couple more years, but now looks very bad. It does not sprout new canes and is full of woody, twiggy growth. It produces flowers but the bush looks like hell. It's 95% just old wood. I've been pruning lightly every January 31, fertilizing with systemic, epsom salts, fish emulsion and Miracle Grow, and treating it just like all my other climbers. I can't figure out what's wrong with it.
