best if planted in hanging baskets or pot groups... I combined them with tradescentia zebrina , callisia and spathacea. and on the background grey coloured fern species. they are great if combined with purple , reds and pastel colours.

Would probably be a good terrarium plant, especially based on the other user's review. Mine looked bad without near-constant watering. In fact, I ended up keeping it in a deep tray of water (which quickly turned a deep brown due to tannins) to keep the leaves from dessicating.
