Hybrid suffruticosa, Tree Peony 'Renkaku'

In my climate this is only a few degrees, and for short duration, but it killed of several of the plants. The rest did not survive our hot summer. I might try again in a shadier spot, because this is truly a beautiful peony.

My flowers match the photos of the plant from Brooklyn Botanical Garden. It is a semi-double white tree peony with glistening white peta...Read Morels and yellow center. When mature (I got a five-year-old plant from Tree Peony Garden), the flowers have more petals than shown on the BBG's plant. It is a truly gorgeous peony. I am not sure Rebecca101's is a "Renkaku," although it is beautiful in its own right.
