S...Read Morelightly deeper color than that variety, blooms in clusters, on stronger stems, and has more landscape value than THERESE. After the main blooms are gone, its great abundance of laterals give splendid bloom, which the strong stems are amply able to support. It is probably the very best of the Shaylor varieties, although when we get a chance to see a hundred or more plants of some of the other varieties in a great planting, we may see more value in them, just as we are now seeing more landscape value in this variety as we see it growing in greater quantity and on older plants. $4.00.

GEORGIANA SHAYLOR (Shaylor, 1908) - Double - Pink - Midseason. Medium height. Sweet but strong fragrance. Very large. Light rose-pink, paler on backs of petals, vivid crimson marks on a ring of short petals around center. Floriferous; good stems and foliage. Unusually broad petals of heavy texture and uneven length but well placed. Generally considered exceptionally good for both garden decoration and cutting. M.
