Great plant for south Florida! I have had one under a tree for a couple of years, and it has done great with no special attention except...Read More sprinklers 3x a week. It is now about 18 inches tall and 2 feet around. Seems to reach for morning light, and is nice and full a little further out from the tree. Is completely shaded in the afternoon. These were sold in local Home Depots and Lowes for a couple of years, under the "Proven Winners" trademark, but now I can't seem to find them. I want a few more!

Though its hardiness zones are listed as 10 - 15, I have had good luck with this plant, here in zone 8b.
