I ...Read Morehave one planted in a very sunny spot and another in partial shade. Both do equally well. They have grown to about 2ft high and 2 ft wide. They are certainly a conversation piece and can take the brutal summer heat of western Kentucky. In winter I do cut them all the way back, and mulch heavily.
