This is their first year, and they are doing quite excellent! Already between 2-3 ft. tall. I do hope in the following years they will get 3-4 ft. as I want to add more plants with it, so size will be a determining factor. They have been flowering all summer. I hope I protect them correctly and they will make it through the winter.

Both my Young Lycidas seem to be overachievers though... The flowers they produce are way too big and heavy for their stem size and they end up sagging down to the ground. This seems to be normal as I have 2 of them. Big beautiful fragrant flowers are awesome, but they would be a lot more awesome if I didn't have to hold up the flower just to see it. I'm not sure if this will change as the plants mature?
