Unfortunately, I killed one last year by over fertilizing. The remaining plant winters in my kitchen in a south window with lots of afternoon sun. It blooms all winter and then summers on my patio in view of said window. It needs minimal feeding and seems to thrive on its current environment. I did re-pot it which seemed to slow its growth. Maybe it didn't mind being root bound or maybe the new pot is too large. I wish I knew. I've grown very attached to this plant.

It often self-seeds. I have it planted in the sun, right near my vegetable garden. It is also deer resistant---important in our area. My neighbor planted 3 in a sunny spot and had flowers until November.
