After blooming I cut it back to the basal growth. New growth is more appealing and it will continue to bloom all Summer, though not as much as the first bloom.
Bees love it and my Hummers sometimes visit it as well.

This plant is beautiful until fully blooming.It spreads out from the center and flops horribly.
