Like the other roses of Kordes' Freelander collection, this is less tough and disease resistant than most Kordes roses, and with their stiff habits may be best suited to the cutting garden.
Large (4.25"), very full flowers (100-120 petals) with old-fashioned, cupped form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Slight sweet fragrance, not strong. Claimed to have a long vase life, up to 12 days.
3' high x 2' wide.
Relatively resistant to black spot and powdery mildew.
The cultivar name is 'KORtiglo'. Trade names include "Caramel Antike Freelander®" and "Antique Caramel®"
Bred by Tim Hermann Kordes (1997). Introduced in the US in 2007.
