Clump forming, blooms reach at least 3’ once blooms are gone foliage dies back cut old foliage and stems off then it comes back again, it’s a reseeder in my beds but not so much that it gets to be a pest, you can dig the seedlings and trade them or move to wherever you like no problem. I love this plant.
I can’t tell that the blooms have any pink in them but my eyesight may be failing me at times lol They look white and are nice big fat salvia blooms!
I’ve heard people talk about wondering if it’s a short lived perennial but I have had mine for about five years now and the original plants are still going strong and hang around most of the winter.
Seeds are too easy to collect just cut the dead stalks put them in a paper bag, turn upside down and shake. If you handle the seed pods/flower stems be careful not to get little stickers in your fingers from them.
I have WS this plant with just barely covering seed with great success.
