Flowers are small and attract hoverflies whose larva parasitize aphids. I highly recommend it for that reason. Other common hoverfly attractors such as sweet alyssum, carrot family flowers, and cabbage family flowers tend to not do so well in hot areas like mine so this is plant is a good substitute.
I pair mine with Blue-eyed grass 'Suwanee' and Signet marigold 'Tangerine Gem' (started indoors) at the front of a border which all start flowering early in the season.
