I had mine grown successfully from seeds directly sown around the maple tree by the sidewalk. Neighbors and daily passers-by admired the lively foliage and the lovely flowers.
However, some late-night sneak stole a few plants, yanking them off roots and all, leaving the unsightly space for me to find, feel upset over, get over, and fill up the following day.
