Plant was both a nectar plant and a host plant to an unknow type of hawk moth - the giant moths would visit around sunset. Also attracted several types of pollinating flies, bees and wasps. I interplanted them around the veggie garden with the hopes of attracting pollinators and was not dissappointed. The only other plant that attracted so many pollinators to the veggies were basil plants (in particular the cinamon basil, but all basils in general) and desert mallow. Don't know how tasty they are for humans, but the birds are enjoying the dried flower heads this winter.
