This...Read More garlic survived winter temps down to 0*F with no mulch and summer temps up to 110*F without blinking. Bulb size was very good, although not quite as large as the seed bulbs that I purchased. I think the excessive heat may have been a factor. This was my second best performer here as far as growing and bulb production (Siberian was #1). I don't have a very sophisticated pallet, so I can't really judge it against the taste of other garlic I grew - except to say it was, as were the others, MUCH stronger, spicier and picant than any store bought one I've ever tasted.
