This is the all-round best tasting small tomato I've ever eaten. We've grown it for the past three years, ordering the seeds from ne See...Read Mored Company off the web. If I leave a bowl of these sitting on the kitchen counter in the morning, they have all disappeared by the end of the day! Frequently they don't even make it indoors, as the person picking them eats them like berries off the vine.
It doesn't produce as long as some other cherry tomato varieties, but I start seeds at intervals to extend the gathering season. These tomatoes are especially sensitive to sunlight- the plants grow and set fruit quickly in late April, May, June and July. Fruit production (and the intense flavor) falls off once the long days of summer start to wane. Nevertheless, I've picked tomatoes from the vines in October that still beat the flavor available from my other cherry tomatoes, much less any of the store bought varieties.
