The stems and leaves have a variable purple tint (varying from one season to the next), and the leaves are smaller than those of the other hardy agastaches. All of these features make this a more attractive plant than 'Blue Fortune', in my eyes. None of them is captured in the photos.
I also like the foliage fragrance. Bees and butterflies like the flowers, too.
Long-lived and hardy here (Boston Z6a) in half-day sun and ordinary loamy garden soil (good drainage but not rock garden conditions). Blooms from late June till frost.
