It blooms better with somewhat cool temperatures (55-60 at night, 65-70 daytime). Hot temperatures seem to inhibit blooms somewhat. The blooms fade in color as they age.
Pinching is not required.
Fertilize every 2 weeks, but do not overfertilize.
Evenly moist soil is desired; never soggy. Letting it dry out some on the top is a good idea, but don't let the entire root ball go dry.
