Together with five tulip growers from the Noordoostpolder (English: North-East Polder) and J.P. Snoek en Zn. hybridisation and selection company, they are part of a breeders’ association called Tuliko. They have hybridised many new varieties with this group, which they export exclusively.
T. Ile d'Orange ® 'Miss France' is slightly lighter red colored than T. Ile de France which is a more dark red tulip. Both tulips are introduced by Jan de Wit en Zonen BV.
