I received it as a gif...Read Moret the Christmas before I started dating my husband and my husband recently passed after 16½ years of marriage. It is 18 years old and blooms at least 3 times a year. I've put egg shells on the surface of the soil and that's when it really started blooming more frequently. I have it potted, but will see if it does well in the soil when I plant a baby from it in the soil. It doesn't make seeds pods.
