Modern Roses lists the color of this rose as "MR"; one of the alternate names is 'Red Druschki'. This strongly suggests that the pink ros...Read Morees sold as 'Ruhm von Steinfurth' may not be correctly identified. Information on the Web is confused, with some sources listing the year of introduction as 1912, and others giving it as 1920. (I think the latter is correct, but I don't have a copy of MR in front of me.)
The rose in my possession has cupped ruby-red blooms that are quite fragrant; I cannot be fully certain of the ID yet, but it was labelled as 'Ruhm von Steinfurth' at the Study Plot of the Huntington Library and Garden.
I have not tried keeping it outdoors in the winter here, so I can't specify whether it is hardy in USDA z7b.
