I walked ...Read Moreinto my shade structure one day and was overwhelmed by this sweet candy scent. I wasn't sure at first, but I wandered over to the Aloe and was pleasantly surprised.
This seems to be a trait of Malagasy Aloes. So far I've also noticed a scent from Aloe haworthioides and Aloe cryptoflora. I'm sure there are others!
